| The Basket Makers We live near Woodland, WI and have been making baskets for over 17 years. Our primary focus is the Nantucket style basket. We have studied the historic methods of making these unique baskets and use cane and native and exotic woods in their construction. To insure quality, all the wooden bases, lids and handles for the baskets are made in our shop. We enjoy producing these historic baskets as we continue to refine and expand our craft. “Basketmaking is an ancient craft” says Joyce. “Our enjoyment comes from being able to share these unique baskets with people and help preserve the tradition of the Nantucket basket.” |
